Maria M. ‘Mary’ (Ricchiuti) Mailey of Etters, Pa.
Maria M. “Mary” (Ricchiuti) Mailey, 57, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at St. Luke’s University Hospital in Bethlehem. Mary was born in Wilmington, Del. to the late Donato and Theresa (DePaoli) Ricchiuti. She is survived by her husband Kris L. Mailey; her children, Justin and his wife Devon of Etters, and Laura of Philadelphia; a sister Nita R. D’Agostino of West Grove; three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. She was extremely excited by the recent birth of her granddaughter, Adriana and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Daniel. Some of her fondest memories were of times shared with her and her sister’s family in her Marco Island, Fla. residence. In addition to her family, she loved spending time with the children of her HeadStart centers. She was the director of Child and Family Development for PathStone Corporation, Harrisburg. She received her B.S. in early childhood education from the University of Maryland, College Park Campus. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, in her church with the Rev. J. Michael McFadden, her Pastor as Celebrant. Viewings will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Parthemore Funeral Home & Cremation Services, New Cumberland. Burial will be in Rolling Green Cemetery, Lower Allen Twp. Mary’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Luke’s University Hospital for the care and compassion shown at such a difficult time.
